For iPhone · No Apple Watch needed

Sleep tracking that runs itself.

Oyasoo tracks your sleep automatically, from when you put your phone down and pick it up again. No watch, no microphone, nothing to start at night.

Coming soon to the App Store

Free to download. Premium is optional.

The Today screen: 8 h 6 m asleep last night, from 23:06 to 7:18, awake briefly once.

Nothing to start

No button at bedtime, no phone under your pillow. Oyasoo works in the background, even when the app is closed.

No watch, no microphone

Just the iPhone you already have. Oyasoo never listens, and there’s nothing to wear or charge.

Stays on your iPhone

Your sleep is worked out on your phone and never reaches us. No account, no ads.

How it works

You sleep. Your phone lies still.

Screen Time and motion show when your phone is in use and when it lies still. Oyasoo turns that into your night, and a quick check at 3 a.m. stays part of it.

An example night

01

Phone use

Screen Time tells Oyasoo when your phone is in use. Not what you do on it.

02

Movement

Picking up the phone and walking around show when you’re up.

03

Your night

In the morning, Oyasoo works out when you fell asleep, when you woke up and any time awake in between.

Lying awake without touching your phone looks like sleep. So Oyasoo calls it estimated sleep, shows how sure it is about each night, and lets you correct any night in a few taps.

Free for every night.

The tracking itself is free, for as long as you use it. Premium adds the long view.

Questions

Why does Oyasoo need Screen Time access?

It’s how Oyasoo knows when your phone is in use, without you ever opening the app. Oyasoo only learns that the phone is being used, roughly to the minute. It doesn’t see which apps or websites. That information never leaves your iPhone.

And why Motion & Fitness?

Walking and picking up your phone show that you’re up, which makes the times you fell asleep and woke up more precise. You can turn motion sensing off in Settings.

Do I need to do anything at night?

No. There’s nothing to start or stop, and the phone doesn’t need to be in your bed. Use it as you normally do. Oyasoo works in the background, also when the app is closed.

How accurate is it?

Oyasoo sees when you put your phone down and when you pick it up again. If you lie awake without touching it, that counts as sleep. That’s why Oyasoo calls it estimated sleep, shows how sure it is about each night, and lets you correct a night in a few taps.

It measures when you sleep, for how long and how regularly. It doesn’t measure sleep stages, snoring or sleep quality.

Does it work if I work shifts?

Yes. Sleep of 3 hours or more is detected at any time of day, not only at night. If your hours change from day to day, turn on “My sleep times vary” in Settings.

Does it work with Apple Health?

With Premium, Oyasoo adds the sleep it detects to Apple Health, so other apps can use it too. What’s in Health stays there if you cancel: it’s your data.

What do you collect?

Your sleep and phone use stay on your iPhone. There’s no account, no ads and no tracking. If you allow it, Oyasoo sends anonymous diagnostics so we can spot when an iOS update breaks detection. See the privacy policy.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone with iOS 26 or later. No Apple Watch needed. There’s no Android version.
